Who we are

Streaks With Friends (“we” or “us”) provides this service. For privacy questions, email support@streakswithfriends.com.

Information we collect

• Account information handled through Supabase Auth, including your email and authentication metadata.
• Profile information you choose to provide, such as display name, username, bio, timezone, and preferences.
• Routines, commitments, schedules, streak check-ins, completions, tasks, writing, notes, Daily Stats, Activity, and Learning data.
• Social actions such as deliberately shared frozen posts, Circle membership choices, comments, follows, routine adoptions, blocks, and private reports.
• Essential technical and security records created by our hosting, authentication, database, email, and abuse-prevention systems.

If you choose Sign in with Google, Google shares your name, profile picture, and email address with Streaks With Friends so we can create or access your account. We do not request access to your Gmail messages.

If you choose Sign in with X, X may share your name, profile picture, and email address with Streaks With Friends so we can create or access your account. We do not post to your X account.

X sign-in permissions

Our X sign-in provider asks for permission to read posts and stay connected in addition to accessing your X profile and email address. We use X sign-in to identify your account; we do not retrieve your X posts or post on your behalf.

How we use information

We use this information to provide and secure accounts; synchronize your history across devices; operate routines, streaks, stats, exports, and community features; show content you deliberately make public; respond to support and abuse reports; and diagnose service failures.

We do not currently sell personal information or use member content for targeted advertising.

Private, Circle, and public information

New routines and streaks begin private. You can share routine and streak outcomes with only the members you select for your Circle, or make them public. Circle membership is not public, and Circle-only updates are available only to the update’s author and current members of that author’s Circle.

Diet, weight, supplements, writing, health-adjacent information, and other stats do not become public unless you deliberately select and publish them. Community posts and Explore routines are frozen snapshots. Editing a private source later does not silently rewrite an earlier shared snapshot.

Blocking removes follow and Circle relationships and hides that member from your feed, but it does not make otherwise public information globally private.

Service providers

We use Supabase for authentication and database services, Cloudflare for application delivery, domain, TLS, and edge security, and Resend for transactional account email. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services to us.

Your choices and controls

• Change routine visibility and choose exactly which stats to share.
• Add or remove members from your Circle.
• Remove your Community posts and comments.
• Manage follows, topics, and blocked accounts.
• Export your account data as CSV and JSON.
• Delete your account from the product.

Retention and account deletion

Live account data is retained while your account remains active unless a shorter product rule applies. Self-service deletion removes your authentication user and account-owned live application records, including owned public posts and Explore publications. Deleted records may remain in protected disaster-recovery backups for the backup-retention period stated by the operator before public launch.

Security

We use HTTPS, account-scoped database policies, Row Level Security, restricted privileged functions, browser security headers, and operational access controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
